Reading & Writing

At this point in our program we are actively encouraging healthy readying & writing skills. At this level we have started to introduce proper ways of holding a pencil to paper, how to trace all letters of the alphabet & how to draw most shapes.

LEARNING ACTIVITIES

Structured Play Centers

It might seem like an oxymoron to have "structured play" but we can assure you that it's not. In our structured play time we designate groups to building structures as a group. This encourages our kids to build social & emotion skills as well as creative engineering skills.

Through our structured play centers they are able to become the natural scientist that they are by observing, creating & investigating their findings in the classroom.

Creating Healthy Habits

During this time it isn't unusual to walk into the classroom to see a group of three year olds practicing yoga, doing jumping-jacks or attempting a sit up. We believe that healthy habits start when you're young.
